Under the general supervision of the Manager of Plant Operations, is responsible for making rounds from Huggins Hospital to all medical practices and other required stops, using and maintaining the mail machine, and maintenance work.
Responsibilities
Assistance:
Assists with Plant/Maintenance duties as required
Vehicle PM Observation:
Observes vehicle performance and proactively notifies supervisor to have maintenance/repairs done in a timely manner
Performs routine cleanings of vehicles
Fills in for Courier position, as needed
Mail Machine:
Maintains mail machine
Posts outgoing mail
Sorts incoming mail
Deliveries and Duties:
Delivers/Retrieves supplies, paperwork, etc. to the medical practices, as needed
Performs bank runs, as needed
Performs Pharmacy deliveries to the medical practices
Assesses the medical practice work orders and performs general maintenance, as needed
Performs special delivery/retrieval upon request
Safe Driving:
Operates courier vehicle in a safe and responsible manner. Maintains a professional and courteous demeanor while on the road, reflecting positively on the hospital
