Title: Manager, Marketing Communications
Location: Beaverton, OR
Job Summary:
Supports the development of consumer communication strategies and tactical plans to drive growth on each of our brands in all categories and channels.
Essential Position Functions:
• Expert in marketing communications, including traditional, digital, etc.
• Actively manages Company's entire online presence, including corporate and brand websites. digital paid media, and social media platforms.
• Supports other depts within Company on digital marketing, including but not limited to recruiting, plant social media plans and execution.
• Responsible for internal and external corporate communications, i.e. newsletters, media contacts, etc.
• Supports Director, Marketing Communications in day-to-day agency communications and coordination.
• Ensures all agencies have accurate and up to date information regarding brand direction.
• Writes and delivers creative briefs to agency partners.
• Data analysis and reporting, utilizing analytics tools to track and measure performance, providing insights to refine and evolve strategies.
• Stay up to date with the latest tools, technologies, and social media trends and lead efforts to integrate them into our communication and digital marketing efforts.
• Supports business continuity or crisis communications.
• Leads creation of content calendars for social media, consumer emails, and website based on brand strategies and goals.
• Executes and manages digital marketing campaigns, including evaluating ROI and KPIs.
• Other job duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree required (in Marketing or Communications preferred). MBA is preferred.
• 5-7 years in consumer-packaged goods marketing required. Food experience strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years in consumer marketing communications required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Highly skilled in written communication.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Must have excellent presentation and clear communication skills.
• Must have ability to lead projects and initiatives while influencing cross functional partners.
• Must have a drive for pursing results and meeting goals with a high sense of urgency.
• Experience in coordinating multiple agency partners across marketing disciplines.
• Strong Google Analytics and Adwords performance insights and reporting.
• In-depth Social Media management and best practices experience.
• Website user experience optimization oversight and SEO experience.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
• Office environment
• Travel up to 25%
Exempt only: This position is eligible for a bonus based on company goals/performance.
