CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN Timberline Building Systems was formed in 2018 by Tim Emick, the founder of Timberline Landscaping. As a Timberline One company, Timberline Building Systems harnesses the power of the most reputable and best educated subcontractors in Colorado Springs and the Front Range. With general contracting projects such as Panorama Park in Colorado Springs, we are proven to shine in scopes of work that include site infrastructure, outdoor amenities, small structures, stormwater management, and erosion control. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to join our team. As a Construction Foreman, you will coordinate daily activities, ensure worksite safety, and maintain quality standards. This role is pivotal in keeping projects on schedule and within budget while ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and manage construction crews of up to 6 employees, monitoring workmanship, safety, productivity, equipment, material usage Plan and coordinate daily tasks to meet project deadlines, and document work with photos and reports Direct or operate heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, skid steers, wheel loaders, forklifts, manlifts, and varying small equipment according to safety standards and manufacturer specifications Assign and perform manual labor tasks as required by the project Assign and perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity Safely transport materials, products, or personnel to and around job sites as required Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and accurately Inspect equipment before and after each use to identify any defects or malfunctions that may require maintenance or repair Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the implementation of safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including keeping equipment clean Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations Report any incidents, accidents, or equipment damage to supervisors immediately Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge, and facilitate necessary training of laborers and equipment operatorsMust be willing to do tasks outside of your job description as assigned PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT: Employee must lift and/or move up to 50 lbs alone and up to 100 pounds with help of lifting equipment or another person Requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, control of hand tools, and other work associated with construction Outside work in all weather conditions
