Join the Publix Technology Payment Services Fraud Team as a Software Engineer where you will be responsible for playing a key role interacting with various enterprise teams to develop, design and implement solutions for eCommerce Payment Fraud strategy at Publix. This includes development in our On-Prem, Azure, Databricks, Power BI, and Machine Learning solutions. In this role you will primarily perform design, software development, and data analysis to ensure timelines and deliverables are met for highly complex technology solutions that occur within the Agile scrum framework.
Responsibilities:
Interact with business users, architects, engineers, and subject matter experts to implement enterprise systems.
Create technical design deliverables (USS, Screen Prototypes, and UML Models) under specific guidance.
Design and develop applications using agile best practices such as test-driven development, code refactoring, continuous integration, and peer-programming.
Utilize development tools and system environments to effectively code, unit test, and manage system libraries in the development and testing environments. This includes development in C#, .NET, Databricks, Python, PySpark, and MLFlow for Machine Learning.
Plan and coordinate the installation of technical solutions from the test environment into production.
Research code and analyze root cause, then design, code, and test solutions.
Perform data analysis by creating and executing queries, interpreting results and communicate finds to technical and non-technical teams.
Ability to participate in 24/7 on-call production support on a rotating and as-needed basis.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience

Experience with Microsoft Excel
