SUMMARY The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting existing customers, expanding our customer base, and achieving sales quotas within a defined region. They will represent Amphenol Critical Medical Technologies (ACMT) professionally and responsibly, meeting customer expectations of service, responsiveness, and quality. The Regional Sales Manager will decide on the proper split of time needed to achieve maximum productivity and customer satisfaction. They will use their knowledge of ACMT and industry-standard practices to collaborate with customers on initial concept design services. The defined region for this position is Southern California. While this role can be remote, proximity to Southern California is preferred. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Execute sales strategy to achieve the established sales growth objectives for the territory. Frequent travel to customer sites to deliver presentations, support new programs and expand ACMT business within existing customers. Proactively call on new and undeveloped accounts, which will include cold calling and following up on leads. Develop new business opportunities to provide a foundation for continuous upward sales trends while meeting all profitability objectives. Establish professional and responsive relationships with customers to ensure total customer satisfaction. Understands needs of the customer, analyzes options and provides solutions that offer value. Act as a liaison between the customer and internal ACMT core team members to ensure all customer expectations are communicated, understood and met throughout the organization. Works closely with ACMT core teams to develop proposals and quotations for new programs. Coordinates with ACMT Product Management and New Product Development personnel to perform complete technical assessment for each project quoted and communicates if further clarification and/or documents are required from the customer. Acts as the lead on preparing written proposals in response to customers' requests for proposals, coordinates all information with internal Carlisle IT and arranges the formal response. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the industry. Completes required daily/weekly/monthly reporting and forecast preparation on time. Utilizes Salesforce for opportunity development and tracking. Understands and works within Amphenol's policies and procedures. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE A bachelor's degree in engineering, sales, business, or related field, preferred. 5+ years as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, or similar senior sales role(s) required. Medical Interconnect industry experience, preferred. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English. JOB SKILLS Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint is necessary. Familiarity with Salesforce software. Technical knowledge of interconnect products, including wire and cable, connectors, and interconnect assembly services. Demonstrated ability to meet quotas and sales plans in a highly competitive industry. Must have a strategic mindset, excellent communication, and organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude. Strong presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within all levels of a customer's organization, including engineering, procurement, and senior management (Director and VP level). High energy and sense of urgency to drive new business growth. Highly motivated; desire to set and meet high-performance standards based on excellence for the benefit of the individual, team members, and internal customers. PHYSICAL DEMANDS As part of their job duties, the employee must sit for lengthy periods while operating a computer. They frequently use their hands to type, handle objects, and communicate verbally. Additionally, they may need to stand, walk, reach, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to twenty (20) pounds. SALARY INFORMATION As per the laws of several states, the salary range for this position falls between $120,000 - $130,000 per annum. However, it is important to note that this salary information is merely a general guideline.
