The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is looking for an assistant to provide executive support at our Omaha Branch. As a member of our team, you will work closely with the Branch Executive and Public Affairs staff to build and maintain relationships with business executives and community leaders, including supporting the Omaha Branch Board of Directors. You will draft and send communications on behalf of the Omaha Branch Executive and help coordinate meetings and events for internal and external audiences. We are looking for a critical thinker who can identify opportunities and proactively solve problems.
This Branch Executive Support position requires a high degree of attention to detail, cooperation and professionalism. You must be able to handle confidential materials and use good judgement when working with and communicating information. Success in this position requires excellent customer service, interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Specific activities include but are not limited to:
Support Omaha Branch Board of Directors meetings and ongoing engagement with Board members. Develop meeting materials, manage communications, and handle logistics for Branch Board members.
Utilize relationship management software to track engagements and events, ensure contact records are accurate and complete, send communications, and identify follow-up opportunities for the Branch Executive.
Develop and manage process for intaking new business contacts. Independently communicate with business and community leaders to schedule meetings on behalf of the Branch Executive and serve as the point of contact for high priority business meetings and relationships.
Draft and send communications on behalf of the Branch Executive to internal leadership and staff. Work closely with the Branch Executive, Public Affairs and/or Human Resources staff to plan and facilitate internal meetings and events, including agenda development, meeting logistics, and communications.
Plan meetings and events for external participants, which could be hosted onsite, at external locations, or virtually. Manage communications and logistics for external speakers and/or attendees, coordinate event details, and develop registration campaigns using relationship management software.
Provide analytical support for the Branch Executive's strategic projects, presentations, reports, etc.
Provide administrative support as necessary, such as scheduling assistance (managing calendars, emails and deadlines), travel arrangements and reimbursements, and department purchasing.
Qualifications:
Typically requires at least one year of relevant experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Three years of professional experience and associate degree preferred.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and various Internet applications. Experience with Salesforce or similar relationship management software programs is a plus.
Working knowledge of audio/visual equipment and ability to troubleshoot minor problems.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with high profile contacts.
Strong project management and analytical skills.
Location: Hybrid 50%; Omaha, NE
Pay Range: The starting pay range for this position is $46,800 to $66,000 for the job level(s) required for this position. Final offers are determined by factors including the candidate's qualifications, internal alignment considerations, district assignment, and geographic location.
