ENGLISH/ ARABIC TRANSLATOR INSTRUCTOR (Finance)

TASK DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the OIC, Technical Training Schools, the Maintenance Management Instructor will provide Aircraft Maintenance Management instruction KAF and Contractor personnel to include the following areas:
1. Basic English fundamentals
2. Provide English/Arabic instruction
3. Ensure KAF students meet basic ESL requirements
4. Translate difficult areas of learning to KAF students
5. Assist Aviation Maintenance Instructors by translating misunderstood curriculum
6. Other related Maintenance courses requested by the KAF.
The Incumbent will provide this service to KAF personnel.

TASK REQUIREMENTS:
1. Develop, implement, and teach Basic English fundamentals courses to KAF personnel as required.
2. Provide English/Arabic instruction as required by the KAF.
3. Provide assistance to other departments as related to English/ Arabic Translation.

MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum of seven (7) years' experience as an Aviation technician involving military aircraft.
2. Advanced technical background in military aircraft maintenance.
3. Proven experience as an English Language instructor with qualifications in Methods of Instruction.
4. Strong skills in curriculum development and lesson plan design are required to adapt courses to KAF training.
5. Proficient in the use of PC word processing programs.
6. No security clearance required.
