JOB SUMMARY
Develop, manage, and execute content plans as part of a larger, cross-functional marketing strategy to actively engage customers through the decision-making process and across marketing channels.
Collaborate across the organization to manage the plan, align, source, create, review performance, and edit relevant content specific to different customer and business needs.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITES
Strategic planning:
Collaborates with content developers across the organization (corporate communications, integrated marketing, sales marketing and creative teams) to develop and manage content plan in line with business priorities.
Works with the marketing strategist on repurposing opportunities across multiple mediums (i.e. editorial style publications, M.com marketing pages, case study, persuasive article, infographic visuals, carousel storytelling, etc)
Demonstrates a clear understanding of business objectives and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure they show up in output.
Create and maintain a content plan and calendar, prioritizing against business needs.
Has forethought and drive to monitor, refresh or remove out-of-date content.
Understands the buying process and marketing funnel. Works with the integrated marketing team to identify the right content and cadence aligned with the business strategy and positioning.
Challenges our team and stakeholders on the relevance and viability of content under consideration.
Master of leveraging generative AI tools in the process, to enhance content creation efficiency and innovation.
Creative development: Brief and create content on assigned businesses, developing Medline's reputation in those areas, with clear success factors and strategic creative throughout the length of long-term marketing initiatives.
Translates the business objectives into creative briefs for content articles
Works collaboratively with creative team to develop and present cohesive experience from concept through to final execution.
Identify, acquire, organize and curate content, with an eye on efficiency through repurposing.
Flexible and able change course or adjust ideas based on metrics and feedback.
Collaborates w/creative and digital development teams to ensure that content requirements and user experience are top of mind
Collaborates and manages written content from conceptual stage through final production.
Create and adapt content based on the different best practices for each channel of distribution.
Accountable for quality of content checking against professional writing standards and guidelines, checking spelling, notations, links etc.
Performance tracking: Review analytics across key metrics, collaborating with team to make plan adjustments as needed to hit engagement and SEO targets.
Master of SEO strategies considering web pages and content articles pages to build authority
Puts reviews and plans in place that prevent content from stagnating
Familiar with Google Analytics
Project management and organization: Organizes and communicates effectively across the team
Works proactively, against long-term marketing strategies to develop content in accordance with editorial calendar and well in advance of release date.
Has the ability to work within tight time frames and within tight budgets, ensuring delivery is met and project is completed within budget.

Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
Experience in reading and applying content web analytics through Google Analytics
Familiar with SEM Rush or similar SEO tools
Some travel might be required for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Experience interpreting marketing direction and developing strategy for multiple clients and/or brands.
