Human Resources/ Safety Coordinator (Human Resources)

As the Human Resources/ Safety Coordinator at Scherer Bros Lumber Co., you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of human resources and safety, including but not limited to recruitment, training, employee relations, and compliance. This role will provide you with valuable experience and exposure to various HR functions, setting you up for future leadership positions. Key Responsibilities Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts effectively.Actively participate in developing employee engagement initiatives.Maintains electronic bulletin broad/ employee communications. Training and Development: Identify training needs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Assist in coordination of training and development programs. Safety: Maintains OSHA300 log and accident/ injury files.Supports workers compensation and short-term disability programs. Provides safety program administrative support to field leadership. HR Administration: Maintains employee records Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.Handles HR inquiries and provide support to employees.
