Graphic Designer
We are seeking a skilled, creative graphic designer to join the Marketing Team at Genesis Products. In this role, you'll be part of our in-house creative team, producing strategic and engaging internal & external collateral across industries. In addition, the ideal candidate will be able to support work in other mediums, including photography, video, and social media.
The graphic designer is at the heart of engaging our target audiences through relevant content that lives across various platforms – print, experiential and digital. As a Graphic Designer you will be responsible for:
- Conceptual Design: Develop innovative and visually compelling design concepts across various mediums (print, digital, social media) aligned with brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Design Execution: Produce high-quality design assets including logos, brochures, graphics, social media visuals, packaging design, and more.
- Visual Communication: Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, and composition.
- Project Management: Independently manage multiple design projects from start to finish, including timelines and customer expectations.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all design deliverables adhere to established brand identity and guidelines, maintaining visual consistency across platforms.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Participate in meetings and trainings to understand the needs and project objectives of our product, sales, and HR teams.
- Customer Engagement: Support engagement goals for events and tradeshows through compelling design pre, during and post-show.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Must showcase a strong portfolio for concepting and design.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3-5+ years of on-the-job experience in a similar discipline.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to ideate solo or in a brainstorm setting.

Stay updated on current design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies (AI and augmented reality) to incorporate into design solutions.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working at an external or in-house agency
- Experience creating and managing social media content with knowledge of requirements and best practices across platforms
- Knowledge of web design principles, responsive design, and basic front-end development
- Retouching, 3D and animation skills
- The ability or drive to mentor junior team members
