Customer Development Manager - Walmart Sales Team (Finance)
The Bentonville-based Customer Development Manager will be responsible for achieving retail dairy and deli business objectives including sales volume, customer profitability, distribution, merchandising and pricing, and customer business
planning through effective management of assigned businesses and resources. This role will hold account management responsibility for key elements of the organization's portfolio at Walmart and Sam's Club and serve as the primary point of contact for both.
Experience-Education:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience required.
• A minimum of 5+ years consumer package goods and/or related sales experience
including strong knowledge of retail and/or club customers & channels required.
• MBA, CPG food industry experience and Walmart / Sam's Club experience strongly
preferred.
• Luminate/ Scintilla , Madrid, IRI and/or Nielsen syndicated data usage strongly desired.
• Previous experience working with Walmart systems such as Retail Link required.
Responsibilities-Competencies-Skills:
• Responsible for achieving profitable sales growth by building & executing annual customer business plans.
• Build strong customer relationships that result in partnership opportunities which drive sales, market share and profit.
• Develop strategic annual business plans and track to achieve or exceed net sales/volume targets.
• Support elevated customer and corporate (internal) connectivity with leadership and cross functional business stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to process large amounts of data and
develop recommendations and action plans.
• Self-starting, goal directed with proven ability to achieve team results.
• Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, persuasive skills.
• Strong financial (trade management) acumen
• Able to relate internal and customer business strategies for positive outcomes.
• Ability to perform effectively in a team environment
• Ability to manage shifting and multiple priorities, motivated, self-starter, tactful,
responsive manner with customer
$120,880-$181,320
In most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges.
