Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (Finance)
Position Description:
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt for Medtronic, Inc., located in Northridge, CA. Coordinate and implement strategic initiatives, goals, and action plans that optimize business processes and operational effectiveness. Analyze current commercial and operational processes to identify improvement opportunities by gathering process information through facilitating brainstorming sessions, interviews, observations, surveys, and workshops. Responsible for implementing software development lifecycle (SDLC) leveraging Waterfall, Agile and Scrum. Perform Testing and Validation and utilize Application Lifecycle Mgmt. (ALM) for test script execution. Responsible for Data governance, data cataloguing, Protected Health Information (PHI)/Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data policies and improving data quality. Utilize Data mgmt. and analytics platforms including Power BI, Tableau and Web Intelligence. Coordinate Data querying using SQL and SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Responsible for leading Lean and Six Sigma projects, facilitating kaizen events to control risks utilizing Process Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (PFMECAS). Utilize DMAIC and A3 problem-solving technique, and six sigma tools to include DOE (Design of Experiment) and ANOVA (analysis of variance). Responsible for Process validations complying with FDA 820 Quality System Regulation, and characterization. Leverage knowledge from being a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. #LI-DNI
Position permits a hybrid model and will be onsite at the Northridge, CA location 3-4 days per week.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Systems Technology, or related technical or engineering field and a minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt specialist or data quality engineer. Must possess at least four (4) years of experience with each of the following: SDLC, Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum; Testing and Validation and ALM; data governance, data cataloguing, and improving data quality; Power BI, Tableau, and Web Intelligence; data querying experience using SQL and SAP ERP system; leading Lean and Six Sigma projects and Kaizen events; DMAIC, A3, DOE, ANOVA, and PFMECAS techniques; and process validations complying with Industry standards including ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is required. Position permits a hybrid model and will be onsite at the Northridge, CA location 3-4 days per week.
Salary $137,400 to $162,000 per year
