This position is located at Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Operations Division, Office of the Chief Data Officer. As a Business Analyst (Data Mgmt), you will advance the Bureau's mission by developing and implementing strategies to help Bureau staff use data more effectively. This individual will identify opportunities to enhance the Bureau's use of high-quality data. The analyst will propose projects and lead those projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst (Data Mgmt), you will:
- Interact with stakeholders Bureau-wide to identify challenges and opportunities that lend themselves to innovative data product solutions and collaborates with OCDO technical resources to plan solution creation and delivery.
- Engage with external public stakeholders to better understand how data users value and use CFPB public data assets. Analyze findings and translates them into actionable datacentric projects to improve CFPB's public data assets.
- Engage with Operations Division leadership and personnel to understand data needs, to propose responsive data visualization or reporting products, and to collaborate with OCDO technical resources to provide timely solutions that meet stakeholder needs. Automate processes to the greatest extent possible.
- Consult with customers and apply analytical processes to the planning, design, and implementation of new and improved data products and solutions to meet the business requirements of customer organizations. Develop contingency and long-range plans and communicates them to stakeholders.
