As JJ Kane Auctions continues a nationwide growth strategy continues; we are opening a position for a Marketing Specialist to serve as the primary connection between JJ Kane and Altec's Corporate Marketing team. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless communication, aligning marketing strategies with business objectives, and supporting the execution of campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation.

The Marketing Specialist will collaborate with JJ Kane leadership, Corporate Marketing, and third-party partners to manage content, marketing initiatives, and promotional efforts that support sales objectives. This individual will act as a subject matter expert (SME) on JJK's inventory, branding, and messaging, ensuring marketing efforts are effective and aligned with business priorities.

Major Responsibilities :

Marketing Strategy & Campaigns

• Serve as the primary marketing representative for JJK, aligning business goals with Corporate Marketing strategies
• Identify equipment for promotion, pricing strategies, and campaign focus based on market trends and sales needs
• Collaborate with Corporate Marketing on campaign execution, tracking and performance analysis
• Serve as primary contact/support for setting up local, regional and national level shows. Coordinating with 3 rd party vendors for booth displays, sway and printed material while maintaining brand standard. Working with sales team to ensure our presence at these shows is most effective.

Content Development & Communications

• Own content and scheduling for newsletters, email blasts, and third-party marketing platforms (e.g., Crane Trader, Machinery Trader, Commercial Truck, Machinio) and coordinate with Corporate Marketing to publish content
• Act as the SME for content creation ensuring messaging aligns with sales objectives and customer engagement goals
• Capture and manage images of trucks, facilities and customers to support marking initiatives

Website & Digital Marketing

• Oversee inventory listings, ensuring accuracy of pricing, photos and descriptions
• Provide input on website content updates to maintain consistency with NUECO's branding and Altec's standards
• Select and recommend inventory for social media promotion while reviewing monthly content plans

Stakeholder Collaboration & Performance Tracking

• Act as a liaison between JJ Kane leadership and Corporate Marketing, facilitating feedback and ensuring alignment
• Manage expectations, project timelines and deliverables while providing performance insights and recommendations
• Support Corporate Marketing with evergreen content needs and NUECO-specific branding efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 2 years of experience in marketing coordination, liaison, or account management roles, preferably within B2B industries.
• Strong understanding of marketing principles, campaign development, and customer engagement strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Experience with digital marketing, lead generation, and performance tracking is a plus.
• Familiarity with the heavy equipment industry or similar sectors is a plus.
• Ability for occasional travel
