Assistant Professor NTR - Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, McGovern Medical School (Finance)

McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston , a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), non-tenure research faculty position in the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology (BMB) . The selected candidate will contribute to the department's mission to conduct innovative and important biomedical research. BMB is a host to a diverse array of multidisciplinary research programs ranging from the analysis of molecules, membranes, mice, and men.

Position Key Accountabilities:

The Assistant Professor non-tenure research in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology under the direction of Dr. Wenbo Li will develop an active research program the faculty member will have interests that will complement existing areas of research excellence in the department.

Responsibilities will include:

• Participating in the education and training of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.

• Supporting the research mission of the department and university.

Qualifications:

The selected candidate must have a Ph.D. degree and successful postdoctoral experience.
