- Must have open and flexible availability to work any shift
- Ability to grasp. lift and carry goods up to 50 pounds
- At least 1 year of previous experience in high volume banquet operations or comparable
- Prior inventory experience preferred
What will I be doing?
As a BanquetExpeditor (Supple Person), you would be responsible for providing the most responsive, knowledgeable and purposeful service to internal and external customers through procuring and transporting supplies and/or equipment from storerooms and storage areas to ballrooms and other designated areas. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Visually monitor in order to maintain sufficient stock of supplies, including using the inventory par list (which may require basic mathematical abilities), and reviewing Event Orders and Activity Sheets for upcoming supply needs.
- Visually monitor in order to maintain clean, functioning equipment in clean and organized storerooms.
- Write requisitions and walk to storeroom to pick up supplies. Lifting a maximum of 50 lbs. on to cart/truck and pushing up to a maximum of 450 lbs. to banquet areas.
- Manually operate and inspect all banquet equipment (i.e. Fountains, Salt and Pepper, Sugar containers, Coffee Urns) to ensure proper function, condition and cleanliness.
- On a daily basis review Activity sheets and Event orders for upcoming supply and equipment needs and maintaining inventory par list.
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management, for example cleaning the storeroom and filling requisition orders

The Hourly rate for this position is $24.11--$32.15 an Hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
