CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a portfolio of roughly 100 branded vendors to obtain the best financial and operational position between both companies. Serve as the primary liaison between both the vendor and Medline for those vendor partnerships.
Under the guidance of Vendor Relations management and Medline's Legal team, negotiate agreements with vendors to achieve improved financial terms and conditions. Types of agreements include but are not limited to; Distribution Agreements, Operational Efficiency Agreements, and Transportation Agreements.
Support Vendor Relations business functions such as, but not limited to: acting as site administrator for the Active Community vendor portal platform; serving as primary contact for new vendor on-boarding and associated responsibilities, acting as site administrator for the ZenDesk Ticket System.
Serve as the escalation point of contact for all functional areas in the distribution division working with the vendor to problem solve and mediate through challenges and opportunities that arise.
Respond to vendor related questions or issues for efficient/effective resolution.
Plan, Attend and/or support vendor business reviews under VRM leadership inclusive of other industry/divisional events.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education / Experience
Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of marketing, product management or sales experience.
Additional
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Office with a strong focus in Excel and Word (for example: creating pivot tables, using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
Position requires travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Relevant Work Experience
Experience negotiating with outside vendors, including negotiating contracts, prices, resolving service issues and/or reconciling differences. Familiarity with freight incoterms and logistics standard operating procedures.
Distribution operations or general healthcare market experience.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$63,960.00 - $92,560.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
