Associate - Global Graphic Designer (Creative Design)

Position Responsibilities
Work with the Graphics+Branding Leader to realize the firm's strategic objectives through creative design ideas and concepts to meet the needs of our business.
Develops and maintains the SOM brand and identity, use of brand and identity materials, and leads the development of new iterations of their deployment, working with firm leadership to develop and refine as required (including SOM Brand Drive, logo deployment, letterhead, business cards, etc.).
Collaborate with Marketing & Business Development Team:
Oversee the development and maintenance of templates for project pages, resumes, market books, etc. for use by the Marketing & Business Development Team, and train as needed.
Develops or oversees development of custom materials for high-priority pursuits.
Collaborate with the Communications Team on exhibition graphics, posters, and other collateral for lectures and panels, etc.
Collaborate with Business Operations and Employee Resource Groups by providing creative direction and developing visual materials in support of their work.
Collaborate with the Graphics+Brand Studio on design and implementation of branding and identity elements for SOM clients as needed.
Design and implementation of special projects, tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Manage project deliverables and schedules through all phases of design and implementation.
Grow into management of junior team members in the future.
Leadership Responsibilities
Ability to manage and synthesize feedback from large and complex stakeholder groups including Partners, Principals, Project Teams, Business Operations, etc. to gain consensus on a successful solution.
Actively leads their own projects and potentially in future other team members.
Creates and drives new ways of working through contributing to the development of services, standards, procedures based in an understanding of the business principles that protect SOM from financial and legal risk.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design.
10 years of experience or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities in graphic design and brand strategy in print, digital and 3D design.
Must be an exceptional designer, storyteller, and collaborator, capable of communicating complex concepts clearly and persuasively across diverse audiences.
Exceptional design sense.
Excellent leadership, collaboration and project management skills.
Expert at developing concepts to final artwork in print, digital, and 3D design.
Expertise with full Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
Strong interest in and skilled at teaching others and skill-sharing.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Flexible and agile in delivering against aggressive business goals and schedules.
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable engaging with senior leadership across the firm, including partners.

Compensation for this role is based upon experience, qualifications, location, and education and typically ranges from $105,000-$125,000.
