SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting logistics, property management, facility maintenance and daily operations of a mid-to-large size federal government office.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the primary point contact between the local ATF Field Division and the PASD for all logistics and asset management requirements. Coordinate facilities support and repairs between GSA, DHS and U.S. Army COE. Serving as Local ATF POC to PASD for facility lease renewal and replacement projects. Organizing and maintaining supply status for select ATF commodities. Plan, coordinate, and support ATF HQ daily operations. Plan and execute all supply, facilities and property accountability management and reporting. Represent ATF in coordinating facilities requirements with GSA and other Federal, State and Local Agencies. Support ATF's real property and personal property asset management programs, including the identification, property issue, property transfer, property disposal, and property inventory through ATF's asset management system (Sunflower) or comparable system. Input and update asset data and perform transactions in Sunflower. Tasks include receipting for new property, transferring property between staff, and performing asset inventories. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in business, operations, supply chain or related field; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.
EXPERIENCE: 3 - 5 years' experience in global logistics, logistics operations, assisting in the supply chain process. 3 years' providing logistics or asset management support to Federal Agencies.
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word. Proficient in fleet management software and various computer programs that manage and match shipment movements.
COMPETENCIES: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines. Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Ability to perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment. Ability to gather, interpret, report, and use data and other information concerning assigned activities. Ability to function effectively with or as part of a team. Skill in preparing clear and concise documents, including, but not limited to reports, procedures, correspondences, and other written materials. Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of import forwarding and customs brokerage in a domestic and/or international capacity. Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.
OTHER: Ability to travel as needed. Must possess Active ATF Suitability and must be granted DOJ Suitability prior to starting work.
