CVG 300 Assistant Production Supervisor (Rework) - 1st Shift (Engineering)
Jabil is adding an Assistant Production Supervisor to our Rework team (1st shift) in Florence, Kentucky. The Rework Department is responsible for addressing and resolving various issues throughout the manufacturing and testing phases of production for various Advanced Compute Platform. This includes troubleshooting and correcting hardware defects, reassembling components, improving efficiency, and minimizing waste.
SUMMARY
The Assistant Production Supervisor (APS) will oversee day-to-day operations for the Rework Team on 1st shift, ensuring the efficient resolution of hardware and sub-assembly issues. Oversee production processes and assists Supervisor in establishing production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors. This role involves close coordination with the production team, managing workflows, and maintaining adherence to quality and safety standards. This position is pivotal in driving operational excellence and meeting production targets for new and sustaining AI/ML and GPGPU and hardware accelerator-based server and storage platforms.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee is frequently required to walk, and to lift and carry PC's and test equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and use of computer monitor screens a great deal of time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Individual's primary workstation is located in the office area, with some time spent each day on the manufacturing floor. The noise level in this environment ranges from low to moderate. Required PPE for the production area includes composite toed shoes, hearing protection, protective eyewear, and an ESD vest. The manufacturing floor is modernized, climate-controlled, and well-lit.
