Heat Press / Transfer Operator / Utility Cleaner (Manufacturing)

Position Summary
The Machine Operator-Heat Press will be responsible for processing orders that require heat transfer application on a variety of products. The job requires cutting heat transfers, loading garments, applying heat transfers, folding and inspecting heat transfer products. This position is responsible for machine observation during manufacturing on a timely basis. Other responsibilities will include keeping a neat and organized work area. The candidate will also assist with getting orders ready to run on the embroidery machines. They will also assist with cleaning finished garments when required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Arrange layout including new, in process and completed orders.Interpret work orders for production.Match the product description on the order to the supplied material.Communicate with internal staff to facilitate the approval of artwork placement.Read orders for all information associated with heat transfer.Match the product description on the order to the supplied materials.Check the design on the order making sure it matches the design provided.Check all spelling on the provided job order.Complies with all Witmer Public Safety Group Policies and Procedures.Performs any other duties or projects assigned by the management team.

Schedule: 7:30am - 3:00pm, Mondays through Fridays, Occasional overtime available.
