As the Supervisor of Insurance Verification in PFS is responsible for leading a team to secure accurate and timely insurance verifications, patient financial liability estimates, ultimately supporting the revenue cycle and patient financial experience. Responsible for the operational management of the insurance verification team within Patient Financial Services, Diabetes. This role works in conjunction with Sr. Leadership to identify unit, department, and business priorities to successfully deliver on Patient Financial Service accounts receivable metrics.

An Insurance Verification Supervisor oversees the insurance verification team, ensuring accurate and timely verifications to support revenue cycle efficiency. The individual will interact and collaborate with various departments, handle escalations, optimize workflows, execution of plans and directives and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years' experience in healthcare insurance collections, accounts receivable management, billing and claims processing, and insurance payor contracts.

Nice to Have

• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with internal and external customers written and verbally.
• Advanced knowledge of insurance contracting, payor regulations, insurance benefits, coordination of benefits, managed care, and healthcare compliance, rules, and regulations.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$60,800.00 - $91,200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
