Job Summary:
The Chief of Staff is responsible for working closely with Site Head to guide the organization's day to day operation and provide strategic direction to the site. The role includes a close management of tactical and strategic projects impacting the short and long term productivity and profitability of the site. The incumbent is also responsible for developing and leading the communication strategy for the site to drive transformation and engagement at site.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as strategic support to Site Head on projects and initiatives impacting the site productivity, profitability and engagement.
Project management support to Site Head for site level projects, support the development of the plan, timeline and coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders and support within and outside the site.
Analyze key operational efficiency indicators and KPIs impacting site and recommend solutions to drive culture of continuous improvement.
Drive the above project towards organization/ transformation over the next one year to improve site profitability.
Identify Risks impacting site performance and recommend actions to mitigate risks.
Stakeholder management within Lonza and external with the local community and public officials.
Support implementation of initiatives at site through structured change management tools and techniques.
Develop and execute the Communication strategy for the site leading to increase engagement and enhanced Employee Value Proposition.
Support all activities or projects as deemed appropriate the site productivity, profitability and engagement.
Key requirements:
Bachelor's Degree is required, MBA or advanced Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Risk Management, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.
Experience of leading organization transformation experience in a global context is preferred.
Demonstrated success in managing PMO for large-scale, complex projects.
Demonstrated experience of understanding key operational and financial KPIs for business or project.
Strong leadership and change management skills and experience of organization transformation projects.
Excellent project management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
