Step into Your New Role
Kleinfelder is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing Mid-Atlantic design team which supports both our Abandoned Mines Program and Energy clients. Duties include the creation of designs, reports and calculations on complex energy, abandoned mine reclamation and discharge treatment projects in our team orientated environment. This position will participate in the technical execution of engineering projects including site designs, environmental permitting, site modeling and grading. The successful candidate will interact with PMs, senior operations and technical staff and provide guidance for task management of entry level professionals. This is a hybrid position for our New Cumberland, PA office.
The project work will be multi-disciplinary in nature, however experience in Pennsylvania with PA DEP and the Bureau of Abandoned Mine Reclamation is a plus. The ideal candidate will understand engineering practices and principles as they relate to surface water resources and site planning activities with specific experience in the Florida regulatory environment. Project types include surface mining, wetland and stream restoration, reclamation analyses and site water resources engineering.
