Business Analytics Advisor - Remote (Finance)
The Business Analytics Advisor role directly enables Cigna's evolved strategy to be champions of affordable, simple, and predictable health care by providing high quality provider reimbursement operations performance data that drives efficiency and improvement supporting business strategies. Our goal is to own, organize, govern, and deliver operational performance data with a specific lens on operational delivery successes, risks, and opportunities for improvement. This role supports Insights & Visualization, which delivers both tactical and strategic performance analysis and analytics to the business.
General Purpose:
Aligned to Delivery Support & Insights, the Business Analytics Advisor provides provider data and claim-based pricing performance analytics, improvement opportunity and risk insight, and data expertise supporting provider programs. This role works within an analytics and visualization disciplined team leading growth and operations enhancement projects across provider data, pricing operations and other supporting functions. This role works closely with operations, asset development teams, and business users from related functional areas.
Job activities include:
1) Defining and designing operational performance analytics and/or insights,
2) Operational analytics summarization and characterization of insights gained in an actionable format,
3) Reporting improvement success and estimations of gain relative to operational performance,
4) Provide guidance on end-user needs, inform reporting solution design, and fulfill data and measurement requests in support of priorities,
5) Deliver analytical and operational reporting, business performance measurements, and management dashboards for leadership.
Additionally, this role will be responsible for creating and maintaining reporting processes, job aids, and templates used in the course of providing performance analysis and insights to provider data, pricing operations and related functional areas. This role serves as a member of Agile Kanban team, which executes all PI deliverables following Agile methodology.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 96,000 - 160,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
