1. Keep automation and machines running. 2. Perform maintenance functions for successful plant start up and shut down. 3. Review schedule for mold/insert changes for the presses and complete robot setups. 4. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all automation and mechanical equipment for consistent production. 5. Operate equipment when needed (i.e., presses, conveyors, crane, forklift, boom lift, etc.). 6. Dismantle and reassemble machines and equipment when needed. 7. Program, write, design, and run diagnostics on ladder logic for wiring or PLC programming. 8. Conduct preventive/predictive maintenance according to schedule (i.e., daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual). 9. Maintain all programs, drawings, and modifications to equipment or the plant. 10. Conduct project work, including fabricating design tools, equipment, and overseeing contractors. 11. Review and complete work orders. 12. Design, build, and fabricate tools and equipment to maintain a safe, ergonomic, and efficient working atmosphere. 13. Install and set up all new equipment or movement of equipment within the plant. 14. Maintain good housekeeping. 15. Work with outside vendors for best service, quality, and costs. 16. Complete daily log on computer server of activities on each shift to communicate. 17. Provide leadership to the Maintenance and Set Up departments. 18. Train other employees and new hires. 19. Actively participate in safety activities, including safety meetings. 20. Participate in communication meetings. 21. Complete all safety and company compliance training on time and according to schedule. 22. Support other areas in times of need including production, vacation coverage and overtime changeover. 23. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed). 24. Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain all CI, 5S and STW activities. 25. Other duties as assigned.
