Nemours is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our NICU team here in Wilmington, DE! The Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU), Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is an advanced practice nursing role that is responsible for improvement and maintenance of scientifically based clinical nursing care in the NICU. The NICU, CNS intervenes at the infant/family, the nurse, and at the systems level. In collaboration with the health care team, the Clinical Nurse Specialist provides expert family centered clinical care and clinical consultation within the NICU to improve outcomes and to promote integrated health care that is safe, equitable, timely, effective, and efficient. The NICU, CNS achieves this by providing direct and indirect care for infants and their families, promoting professional development, disseminating and conducting research and contributing to and leading clinical policy and procedure development and revision.
Position is a full-time, 36 hours per week role.

Facilitator of Learning: Demonstrates clinical expertise while supporting clinical nurses to integrate new evidence into practice. Provides education or teaching skills to clinical teams, patients and family.

Qualifications:
Graduate of accredited school of nursing, MSN required
Minimum 5 year related clinical experience
Active Delaware (or compact state) Registered Nurse Licensure Required
Active Delaware (or compact state) Advanced Practice Nurse (as a Clinical Nurse Specialist) Licensure Required
Board Certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist
