Job Summary:
Supermicro is looking for talented and passionate Application Engineer who has in-depth knowledge in networking solution, especially in switch products. You will be responsible in providing technical supports to our enterprise customers, promote internal switch products to provide optimize customer's networking solution. The ideal candidate must have strong technical background in networking switch product as well as exceptional communication skill -- ability to interface with all level of management staffs in professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Work directly with customers to resolve technical issues including motherboard, server systems, PC systems and computer peripherals on the phone, by E-mails, or go on-site
• Identify technical issues and resolve computer hardware and software problems
• Establish and maintain lines of communication with sales team to discuss services and technical issues
• Provide service to effectively resolve customer concerns and issues
• Travel with sales to customer sites to provide product presentation and support
• Continually develop knowledge base of current and new products
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer with of experience in computer systems and/or servers preferred
• Strong organizational and well-developed social skills
• Excellent telephone etiquette skills and onsite support skills
• Strong communication skill in both verbal and written
• Excellent knowledge of Server/Workstation products and services
Please note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In-office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities are essential aspects of this role. Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in the designated office location.
Salary Range
$68,640 - $117,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
