Rover Plumber Apprentice (Manufacturing)
One year prior plumbing experience.
Experience in use of plumbing tools such as Hydro jet, sewer machine snake, and jack hammer.
Must be able to receive and act on instructions given verbally and in writing.
Must be able to function effectively in a customer service environment.
Must have work vehicle (truck or van) and own hand tools.
Must be able to drive to other locations.
Must be able to walk apartments, grounds and docks including steps and steep gangways.
Your Calling Will Be:
Responsible for general job site labor including hauling and disposal of debris from job site.
Assist Plumber Rover in the repair or replacement of cast iron, clay, ABS above and underground sewer lines, repair or replacement of storm drain lines, gas leaks, and installation of galvanized, copper, cast iron or clay pipes.
Assist Plumber Rover with the installation of water heaters and wall heaters.
Ensure that work area is left in a clean and orderly state at the end of each work day.
Responsible for the preparation of materials for each job.
Ensure that materials and tools are stored at the end of each work day so that they are well protected and do not pose a safety risk.
Pick up and transport supplies to job site as needed.
Attend monthly Safety Meeting and perform all work duties in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company safety policies.
Relay information regarding property conditions that could constitute a physical or liability hazard.
Ensure that bi-weekly timesheets are filled out accurately and submitted timely.
Assist with other trades as needed.
Perform other duties as required.
Required: Satisfactory drug test and background check.
