Direct and control manufacturing, and production planning to effectively achieve quality, quantity and unit cost standards according to sales, marketing, budget and company requirements.
Ensure systematic and process-oriented solutions to drive continuous improvement in Operations.
Perform the necessary analysis of accounts to assist in the effective planning and development of annual operating budgets.
Initiate, manage and administer policies, procedures and standard work that provide for shift-to-shift consistency and the plant operating in a safe, clean and orderly fashion.
Initiate and manage cost savings projects related to crewing, standards, yields and operations.
Collaborate with local and corporate Supply Chain to drive optimal and efficient schedule completion and customer service.
Provide subordinate development and training. Ensure the supervisors have sufficient control tools to manage within the plant's planned operating objectives, direct the plant's workforce effectively and efficiently; and have sufficient technical knowledge of the operation.
Establish strong floor presence to build employee engagement and collaborative culture.
Direct supervisors and staff to develop and maintain good employee relations along with effective safety and environment programs. Develop supervisors to promote employee engagement and development to foster a ONE team, collaborative culture.
Member of the Business Continuity/Crisis Management Team.
Member of the Food Safety Team.
