Delivery Driver (Transportation)
The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivery and sorting of intercompany mail, adding postage to outgoing USPS mail and drop off at the post office, banking runs, pharmacy delivery and any additional delivery needs or errands as needed.
Responsibilities:
May run errands or handle incoming and outgoing mail or freight as directed. Performs routine cleaning and sanitizing of vehicles. Responsible for intercompany mail, adding postage to outgoing USPS mail, pharmacy deliveries and any other deliveries identified Responsible for bank runs and the security of funds and checks. Maintains strict confidentiality of information as it relates to residents, co-workers, and the business of Heritage Ministries. Follows appropriate chain of command within department and facility organizational structure. May be required to monitor e-mail and computer system to maximize communications, productivity and efficiency between departments, staff, and supervisors. Acts as liaison for facility relations with the general public. Presents a service-oriented philosophy reflecting the ministry of Heritage Ministries and conveys this to staff and residents. Observes and promotes residents rights at all times. Serves as a resident advocate. Observes and follows all safety rules and regulations. Observes and reports safety hazards in a timely manner. Uses facility provided safety equipment as required. Adheres to work schedule by regular and punctual attendance. Supports and adheres to Heritage Ministries Mission, Vision, and CORE Values. Demonstrates a cooperative, courteous, respectful image at all times while on duty or representing Heritage.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED/TASC required. Proven satisfactory demonstration of a valid driver license with safe driving record. Ability to work independently and handle emergencies. Ability to interact appropriately and professionally with staff, residents, vendors, volunteers, and the public, in person and via the telephone. An effective ability to read, write, and speak the English language. Proven communication skills, written and verbal.
