RN Director of Nursing Job Summary:
The RN Director of Nursing is responsible for the 24-hour overall supervision, provision, and quality of nursing care in the Nursing Facility. The RN Director of Nursing will be responsible for the selection, training, discipline and supervision for all nursing related health center personnel. The RN Director of Nursing is responsible for procurement of appropriate supplies and equipment and operating within the departmental budget, and capitol purchases.
RN Leadership, RN Leader, Nurse Manager, RN Manager, Nurse Director, RN Director, DON, Director of Nursing
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's of Science degree. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Licenses/Certification: Registered RN Licensed Nurse with a current license in the District of Columbia.
Experience: Two years' experience in geriatric nursing. Participation in professional organizations, dealing primarily in geriatrics preferred. Minimum of two (2) years nursing administration experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.
