F5, Inc. seeks Sr Engineer, Software in San Jose, CA:
Job Duties: Participate in the development, design and implementation of F5's Edge Computing platform that is used to deploy global, scalable and secure applications. Design and develop software solutions. Understand requirements to develop proposed solutions in timely manner. Unit test software using automation framework. Investigate and solve reported issues. Follow the software development lifecycle. Suggest improvements to the software and take up such activities. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to F5 offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computing and Information Sciences, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Distributed Systems (two years), (2) HTTP/HTTPS (two years), (3) TCP/UDP (two years), (4) TLS (two years) (5) CDN, (6) Proxy Cache Server, (7) Load balancing (two years) (8) C (9) Python (10) Java. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to F5 offices may be required.
Salary: $223,450.00 - $299,928.00 per annum.
