IT Business Office Analyst (Finance)

Job Summary
The IT Business Office Analyst, reporting to the Manager, IT Business & Resource, is responsible for work as a key part of the IT business operations, to include vendors, contracts, IT budget, IT staffing management, and asset management. This role is also responsible for IT operational metrics, supporting within budget and quality delivery of all IT projects/programs, and change & risk management controls. The business office analyst will also play a key role in building, tracking, and maintaining the IT department overall training and development.
Education & Experience
Required:
o Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or relevant degree or equivalent experience
o 3-5 years of experience in a business operations roles to include vendor management, financial analysis, resource analysis and performance metrics
o Project management experience to include Excel, Project and PowerPoint
Preferred:
o IT Business Operations to include vendor management, resource analysis and asset management.
Key Responsibilities
• Responsibility for work on IT Budgets, analysis of budget vs. actual spend, management of key vendor contracts.
• Supports defining, tracking and reporting on service desk and other IT performance metrics.
• Tracks and reports IT staffing levels in coordination with the IT Business Office Manager and CIO
• Responsible for communication and to act as a functional bridge between internal teams and the vendor, help Senior management and their teams meet their strategic and tactical objectives in their use of the vendor technologies, promoting of vendor products, roadmaps and events. Managing problem escalation, vendor agreements, purchases and reporting.
• Supports vendor SOW agreements/contracts in collaboration with the other departments.
• Supports oversight with the vendor relationship, contracts and delivery of services. Monitor and analyze costs, performance, identify and manage risks and escalate potential issues.
• Tracks and reports our overall vendor performance - including variance analysis and supports escalation of non-performance.
• In collaboration with the Manager, develop and implement IT business operations process improvement initiatives
• Effectively document and communicate potentially high impact issues to Senior Management as necessary and work towards timely and effective resolution of vendor issues.

Problem Solving / Analysis: Ability to solve problems through systematic analysis of processes with sound judgment; Has a realistic understanding of relevant issues.
Technical Skills: Financial analysis, project management, resource planning and process improvement. MS Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
