Associate Producer for Cougar Productions (Finance)
1. Directs the technical production of Department of Athletics television show and support of other assigned broadcasts.
2. Directs audio and video production; edits, mixes sound; duplicates material produced; sets up lighting; and, maintains audio/video equipment in good working order.
3. Consults with internal and external constituents on the design of audio and video resources.
4. Trains staff on the operation of various television and audio production equipment.
5. Assists in the design of audio and video production facilities, including recommending equipment types and models.
6. Designs and presents technical workshops for staff on audio and video production and equipment utilization.
7. Set up and stream post-game and weekly press conferences as assigned.
8. Serve as spokesperson/ambassador for the Athletics Department and the University of Houston. At all times and in all settings represent the Department and University in a way that positively reflects and grows affinity for all things UH.
9. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
MQ: Requires the ability and knowledge for analysis and interpretation of procedures, policies and practices attainable through specific education and/or training programs in a specialty or technical field. Advanced vocational or electronic skills or a basic knowledge of a professional field is required. An Associate's degree or certification/licensing in a technical specialty program of over 18 months and up to 3 years duration are characteristics of this field.
