Join Lonza in Vacaville to drive global Tech Transfers in our Mammalian Biologics Network as a Global MSAT - Tech Transfer Expert. In this role you will provide local technical support for large-scale global Tech Transfers from the Mammalian Biologics Network into the site, ensuring successful business and customer outcomes. Leading process transfers, ensuring global Lonza standard adherence, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive strategic business improvements, managing projects from initiation to completion while monitoring timelines and risks.
Key responsibilities:
Manage large-scale global Tech Transfers, ensuring successful process performance outcomes through identified and measured critical metrics.
Prepare and complete technically complex Process Transfers, involving limited international travel for on-site support and leadership.
Provide support and connection to key network sites as a member of a Global MSAT Hub, ensuring adoption with Lonza standards across the product lifecycle.
Collaborate with key functions across the Lonza network to ensure risk management and resolution during active Process Transfer projects.
Develop and implement structured technical or business improvements, establishing and monitoring critical metrics to ensure successful outcomes.
Represent Lonza's scientific reputation at customer project forums, proactively managing and resolving risks to ensure successful business and customer outcomes.
Key requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
High level of industry experience in leading successful large-scale Process Transfers between sites and functions.
Solid knowledge and understanding of technical operations and the Tech Transfer product lifecycle management.
Proven expertise in USP or DSP operations at large commercial scale, developing a global network.
Strong customer-facing expertise, embodying Lonza values and culture to build a positive customer experience.
Demonstrated skills in project planning, monitoring, and timely delivery of successful measured business improvements.
Effective leadership with a positive situational leadership style and a strategic approach.
The full-time base annual salary for this position is anticipated to fall within a range of $139,200-$182,700. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the successful candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and job-related knowledge.
