Requirements and Description
ERMC has stations in more than 200 airports. We provide a full range of ground aviation services, from ticketing and ground handling to cabin cleaning and cargo.
ERMC also provides operations and maintenance for terminals and support facilities in some of the world's busiest airport locations.
We are seeking an Apprentice Technician.
The selected candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:
• Assisting with basic maintenance assignments involving but not limited to preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance, clearing system jams; shift inspections, cleaning, and/or electrical and mechanical adjustments.
• Diagnose equipment failures under the guidance of senior personnel; ensure equipment is running safely.
• Reads and interprets repair manuals, basic schematics, and supervisor/manager's instructions.
• Works in tight and/or high spaces utilizing appropriate PPE and fall protection equipment.
• Follows and complies with all company and federally established policies and procedures; completes all applicable training courses assigned by the company.
Qualifications:
• Experience in maintenance.
• Understanding repair manuals and basic schematics.
• Experience/knowledge in equipment safety.
Applicants may qualify by a combination of history and knowledge of the above-noted systems.
Standard qualifications:
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Completing
• Must possess a Government ID and social security card.
• Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
• Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
• Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
• Able to receive appropriate security clearances after completing a criminal background check.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
