ROLE SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
As a Project Manager at Locke Solutions, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day tasks of our projects. You will assist in creating and updating project plans, scheduling tasks and resources, tracking progress, and communicating with stakeholders. Your responsibilities will also include managing the work of different teams and departments within the precast manufacturing plant to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Managing document flow within projects: obtaining, sharing, and filing documentation.Preparing technical submissions: submittal packages, change order requests, Titan work breakdown structures, etc.Updating and maintaining the Titan Document Database for projects: uploading and archiving all project files.Designing templates for project documents, file types, and Titan document databases.Copying, scanning, and filing documents in physical and digital records.Ensuring all documents are as up to date as possible within the projects and electronic filing.
SUCCESSFUL RESULTS:
Startup project documentation in the database within 3 days of awarded project. All final project documentation in the database at the close of the project. Follow and improve document control procedures. Ensure documents are shared at key times to facilitate timely project completion. Consistent format of forms and project filing procedures. Effectively communicate and collaborate with project managers.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Construction Science, Business Administration, or related field (desired).Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.Previous experience in project management or PMP Certification (required).
