Production Supervisor (Finance)

Babcock and Wilcox has an opening for a Supervisor at our Lancaster, OH location.

Supervises and coordinates activities of union workers engaged in verifying and keeping records.

• Responsible for safety and environmental compliance of department

• Program all CNC lathes

• Plans and assigns work according to employees ability and urgency of production

• Requests manufacturing process changes to improve quality and costs of products

• Supervise and schedule all daily activities within department of responsibility

• Maintain department production and project schedules

• Responsible for employee utilization and efficiency

• Responsible for product quality

• Schedule and approve all hourly employee labor hoursThree or more years of a shop operations experience, with pervious shop supervision in a unionized environment is preferred.

Be able to communicate with internal customer reps in order to understand and meet their needs.

Assign work to direct reports and provide feedback relating to their performance.

Must be able to work independently.

Must be available to work weekends and overtime as needed
