DESCRIPTION
The Michael Baker Baltimore office has experienced significant growth in recent years. The national bridge practice at Michael Baker is also expanding. To support our growth, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager in our Baltimore office. This role involves completing technical work, mentoring junior staff, managing clients, and growing the Bridge Department. We need a motivated project manager who will work closely with the local bridge leader and office leadership team to enhance our team's skills and provide high-quality engineering services locally and nationwide. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of our local bridge business strategy and collaborate with project teams to implement work.
The Bridge Senior Project Manager is responsible for performing technical oversight, staff development, contract and task management, sub consultant management, project and client management for targeted statewide clients. Support the local Bridge Group leader by providing team management and oversight for Bridge Design. Assistance in the development of proposals and expressions of interest for our primary clients and partners.
You will bring to bear your engineering knowledge and skills to manage the preparation of engineering plans, calculations, and reports, technical specifications, and construction estimates and schedules. You will have the opportunity to instruct and guide junior engineers in the development of engineering reports and analyses.
