Our company is currently seeking a Construction Surveyor to support projects in the Columbia/Lexington areas.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Ability to perform general construction staking with lines and grades.Knowledge of as-builts.Knowledge of staking controls and flagging clearing limits.Proficient in basic construction methodology.Ability to read construction documents.Ability to follow directions, understand project scope, maintain project schedule and complete designated phase work on time and within established budget.Flexible schedule required for project duration.Travel to multiple projects within the business day.Work with Estimator and Project Manager to provide insight on potential bid requirements or potential issues.
