As a Claims Clerk, you will support the claims department by handling miscellaneous clerical and administrative functions, such as pulling unemployment forms from state websites and and handling other claim-related documents. In addition, you will help deliver excellent customer service over the phone to both internal and external partners.
What you'll do
You will assist management in resolving raised client issues
You will file documents according to supervisory direction
You will enter or key information into a computer for the Claims function
You will distribute documents to the appropriate personnel as needed
Regular attendance is an essential function of the job and is required
You may also be requested to code or load information into the computer or via other filing means
What experience you need
High School diploma or GED
1 year of experience in a professional office environment with an emphasis on organization of work duties and performing job functions independently
Proficiency with Microsoft Office PC applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well the ability to type 35 WPM or higher
