In this role, you will:
Be responsible for leading an engineering team in the development and execution of multiple parallel strategic capital innovation programs, particularly those that are longer-term innovations or that span multiple business segments
Implement programs and procedures which ensure effective safety and quality attitudes and practices
Manage capital spending to the forecasted budget
Lead in a way that inspires trust, fosters engagement, and enables the team to own their projects, make decisions, and take smart risks.
Drive continuous improvement in the areas of safety, reliability, cost, and timing with regards to the execution of capital projects
Sustain strong networks across key OEM suppliers and technical service providers
Manage resources to ensure project milestones are met whilst accommodating dynamic business needs
Manage a diverse and geographically dispersed team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, best practice sharing/adoption and innovation
Build and sustain cross-functional and global relationships to accomplish objectives including partnerships with Segment/ABU/functional teams

In one of our technical roles, you'll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
10 years or more of progressive experience in a variety of mill and/or staff assignments
Bachelor of Science Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related field
Demonstrated expertise leading and delivering large capital projects in partnership with both internal partners and external entities.
Experience working with external technical service providers, installation companies, and equipment vendors
Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
Strong financial acumen
Effective communication skills with the ability to discuss technical issues in a business environment
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and activities in parallel and drive them to achieve the intended result within budget and on schedule
Ability to lead and influence in a matrix organization and hierarchy
Effective global communications and stakeholder management skills
Proficient knowledge of global manufacturing trends and best practices in capital project management
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for onsite assessments and collaboration with segments and business units
Experience in value engineering and design-to-value approaches
Experience across multiple sectors (Personal Care, Family Care, Professional, GNW) is preferred

Salary Range: $158,000 - $195,000 USD
At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
This role is available for local candidates already authorized to work in the role's country only. Kimberly-Clark will not provide relocation support for this role.
