Regional Sales Leader (East) (Education)
Exercising strong, proactive, and strategic pursuits of cross regional customers to achieve/exceed sales budgets for all categories.
Identifying customer opportunities and market segments that may not be adequately addressed or appear to offer near and longer term future sales growth opportunities.
Ensuring that industry trends, best practices, industry opportunities are capitalized upon.
Maintaining awareness of the larger regional competitors' initiatives. The VP Strategic Sales will be looked to as the company "expert" regarding the competitive landscape.
Creating an aggressive, disciplined, analytical organization that is driven by the company's metrics.
Mentoring Business Developers on Strategic opportunities for best case to win to create a differentiated, unique customer solution.
Negotiate and coordinate strategic customer relationships/contractual agreements.
New Business Development/Leadership:
Develop and coordinate new strategic customer sales and relationships through the generation of new leads.
In coordination with Operational Presidents, set goals and develop specific plans to achieve objectives for growth by specific market segments.
Assist the sales team in identifying and developing a plan to target key accounts that cross regional markets.
Participate in the proposals for significant new sales opportunities and attend and lead, when necessary, presentations for strategic accounts.
Meet, or exceed established new sales budgets, through a developed prospecting process.
Brand Awareness in the Marketplace
Coordinate and implement strategic visibility through industry association involvement.
Generate and implement strategic contact with trade show opportunities within the region, division and nationally when appropriate.
Generate and implement opportunities to coordinate the look and feel of proposal materials that existing and potential new customers may have contact.
Coordinate and implement customer partnership relationships that provide sales closing advantages.
Key Strategic Account Maintenance and Development
Ensure new customer accounts that have been sold are transitioned to the partners successfully.
Communicate on a regular basis to monitor and assist in the focus of activities aimed at renewal and new sales efforts.
Assist with customer business and performance reviews.
Administrative
Daily upkeep of individual monthly pipeline and CRM Management in Aspire.
Work closely with partners to generate quality job estimates.
Responsible for utilizing standard contract procedures, job set up and billing.
Serve as the liaison between the customer and partner during the client boarding process.
