Architecture Senior Advisors- Evernorth Health Services - Hybrid (Finance)
Responsibilities:
DevOps software engineer responsible for developing DevOps tools, patterns, and processes. Responsible for designing and developing DevOps strategies as well as enhancing, debugging, and fixing current infrastructure systems. Responsible for evaluating and improving processes around continuous integration, continuous deployment, automation, quality engineering, security, and cost management. Support Software Engineers, QA, Product Management, and Support teams and work closely with Enterprise Architecture and Software Engineering leadership teams. Architect and develop and advance team capabilities in Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment for Cloud and on-premise applications. Collaborate with Application Development teams on DevOps patterns, best practices, approved technologies and tools, and solutions. Enhance processes and integration for Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATTD) and Test Driven Development (TDD). Collaborate with technical, application, and security leads to deliver a reliable and secure platform in cloud. Provide technical governance for infrastructure design, deployment, and operations. Build DevOps technology for platforms that are modern, scalable, and highly available. Ensure Cost management is within budget guidelines. Implement development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure. Enhance monitoring tools, build infrastructure, and source code management. Encourage and build automated processes. Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management. Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD pipeline). Design DevOps components to manage within applications. Hybrid work schedule.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering plus five years of experience in information systems engineering, application development, or closely related position. In lieu of a degree, the employer will accept at least three years of university-level credit plus at least one year of professional experience in information systems engineering, application development, or closely related position. Must have experience with: Continuous integration and deployment strategies and methods; Terraform/Helm/Ansible/CloudFormation; Splunk/CloudWatch and Dynatrace; Okta/ISAM; EKS/Kubernetes/ECS; Liquibase/Flyway for Aurora PostgreSQL, MS-SQL and Oracle; Shell/Python/PowerShell scripting; ant, Maven, and Gradle for java-based applications; Azure, NuGet for .net-based applications, and npm for node applications; Linux and windows operating systems; Control systems including GitLab, GitHub, TFS, and SVN.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
