Senior Financial Analyst - Commercial FP&A (Project Management)
Job Summary
Job Description
This role will seek to further Medline's most strategic customer partnerships by providing sound financial and operational reporting, analysis, and counsel to Medline's sales leaders and Acute Care customers. The position will lead strategic initiatives that address customer profitability in areas such as pricing, same store sales, price volume mix, and customer gross margin drivers. The right person for this role is a strong communicator and analytical thinker.
Analyze and understand drivers of Acute Care sales force profitability.
Leverage existing centrally produced financial and operational dashboards and build new reporting/dashboards to fit the needs of your business partners. Partner with Sales VP's to understand their needs and customize accordingly.
Distribute reporting to Acute Care Sales VP's monthly with insightful commentary. Identify trends and anomalies and investigate root causes.
Leverage advanced reporting and analysis tools when appropriate including Tableau and Alteryx.
Partner with other members of the Acute Care FP&A team to ensure consistency in reporting measures as well as the quality, look, and feel of all Acute Care FP&A reporting.
Continually look for opportunities to drive process improvement and automation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
At least 3 years of financial planning, reporting, and analysis experience.
Experience working with an ERP system – SAP experience is a plus.
Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel (PowerPivot, PowerQuery, sensitivity analysis, etc.).
Some travel may be required (~10%) to visit IDN sales teams and customers.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
Tableau experience preferred.
SQL experience preferred.
Alteryx experience preferred.
